I only had one memorable relationship with my teachers. She was my 7th grade math teacher, and I looked up to her. She was the only teacher I could talk to about anything and the only teacher who whooped me in class; I always look back on that day and laugh. She also kept me out of a lot of trouble. We stayed in touch for a couple of years. I wish I knew if she had a Facebook or something I can contact her with now. I want to show her how much I matured and let her know how I'm doing. I would love to know how she is doing and how her daughter is doing. She no longer teaches in the district I'm from so I have no way in getting in to contact with her.
If I could choose which country to attend school it would be Paris. I really want to learn there language and I love their culture, at least what I see on television. It does not seem like there is ever a dull moment in Paris. They have a ton of fashion shows and every celebrity seem to go there. I know it sounds like I would go just to party, which is true, but I can say I will learn something, and that's the language.
Brooke, Paris would be a fun place to live...for a short time. I went there a few years ago for a few days. The architecture was beautiful and there was no shortage of things to do and see. My one problem was the French people. They were not as friendly as I expected. They all pretended that they did not understand English, but yet we would catch them reacting to our jokes or comments. I know someone who is living there now for 18 months. She is loving it, but much prefers the French countryside. Also, I took four years of French in high school. When I was there, I could not hardly understand anything anyone said! They seemed to talk so fast! But it had also been a long time since I had used any of my French, so I was very rusty. But I do highly recommend going to visit someday!
